Frequently Asked Questions

Interested in a free 25 minute phone consultation to gauge if my practice is a good fit?

What type of therapy do you offer?

I provide parenting support and individual therapy. I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Since every individual and family is different, I use different therapeutic methods to customize our sessions to fit your specific needs. We’ll work together to figure out what works best for you.

You can read more about my therapeutic specialties and the clients I help on my About page.

Do you offer online therapy sessions?

I strongly prefer to meet in person whenever possible. It helps build a better therapeutic connection and allows us to do experiential/outdoor activities together.

Online therapy is available for parent support sessions and individual adult sessions, but I do not offer online therapy for kids and teens.

How do I schedule an appointment?

Reach out to me through the Contact button, and I'll do my best to get back to you within 48 hours to set up a free 25 minute phone consultation. I like to hear what is going well and what needs attention. We can use the call to gauge if my practice is a good fit for you and your family.

If you’d like to proceed after this initial call, we’ll then schedule a new client appointment. At this point you’ll also receive an email with a link to a secure online portal where you can complete your new client paperwork.

I ask for at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel an appointment. Otherwise, you’ll be charged for the session.

How much do you charge?

Individual, parenting, and family sessions (50 minutes) are $200. Payment is due at the time of service by credit card payment. As part of your initial paperwork, you'll set up a card on file. Most HSA and flexible spending cards are accepted.

For services like school visits and consultations, please reach out to discuss the details and associated fees.

Do you accept insurance?

No, I do not take insurance. As a private pay, out-of-network provider, I don't file directly with insurance companies. However, I can provide documentation upon request for you to submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. If you plan to seek reimbursement, please check with your insurance company in advance to understand your coverage, benefits, and deductibles.
